The Bride's pathway - Greeneville Tennessee Wedding

Before photo of walkway

The latest project has been a slightly winding, gorgeous rock pathway from the chapel to an amazing overlook of the Nolichuckey River and Smoky Mountains. Ted designed the pathway. He said he loves to work with rock, although he doesn't do it as often as he used to cause its "back breaking" work. Putting the pieces of rock together is like a big long puzzle for him....I helped haul rocks and dig out some roots - not as glorious but I was glad to be some help and be a part of such a beautiful walkway. This will tie the chapel more to the rest of the surrounding area - the log cabin, the river and the views. It will be great for wedding photos...
Halfway there!

Overlook view where weddings where held prior to chapel

Log cabin - a honeymoon cabin or a place for family to stay (sleeps 8) or a place for the bride to get ready

  1. Such a nice thing when we look at memories as they unfold. Well dear I am also getting married with love of my childhood, and going to book famous wedding venues from online. Well thanks for sharing such a great blog. Loved reading it though.
